For me, photography is a way to blend emotion with art. With a background in Cinema studies, I see every wedding as a story unfolding through light, composition and feeling. My goal is to create images that look cinematic yet deeply personal, photographs that feel like film posters and carry a sense of timeless beauty.

I have always been drawn to expressive storytelling. My creative process is intuitive and emotional, guided by colour, mood and authenticity. Beyond photography, I also love illustrating the couples I work with, transforming their connection into visual art in another form.

I believe that every couple’s story deserves to be remembered not just as a collection of images, but as a piece of art that reflects who they truly are. That is what inspires me every time I pick up my camera.

My creative journey began with a love for visual storytelling. After studying Cinema, I spent years working in the industry as a director of short films, documentaries and commercials. Now, as the founder of Jay Chubby Wedding, I bring that same creative perspective into the world of weddings, where real emotions and authentic moments take centre stage.

With a background in filmmaking and visual production, I approach every wedding as a cinematic experience. Each detail, from a quiet glance to a burst of laughter, becomes part of a story crafted with intention and emotion.

Based in Melbourne, I work with couples across Australia to create wedding films and photography that feel timeless and true. For me, this work is not just about recording a day but transforming it into a story you can feel for years to come.
